Chlorination Notice

The Buena Vista Community Club ID#91500 will be chlorinating the reservoir on Friday October 17, 2025, due to the presence of total coliform bacteria that was detected in compliance bacteria sample.  This is a continuation of the last treatment.

This is not an emergency.

Coliforms are bacteria which are naturally present in the environment and are used as an indicator that other, potentially harmful, bacteria may be present. The samples that showed the presence of coliform were further tested to see if other bacteria of greater concern, such as fecal coliform or E.coli were present.  None of these bacteria were found.
